Archway Housing and Services is a non-profit that builds and manages affordable housing for low-income families. We also provide on-site, free social services to our residents. We offer afterschool youth enrichment programming, adult educational classes, and community functions.
We are currently looking for a Adult ESL teacher to teach a few stay-at-home mom's who live in our Lakewood community. We are looking for a once a week class for 1-2 hours. There would be about 5 students who all have some conversational English skills.
Archway is a wonderful non-profit that loves helping needy families! Please consider donating your time and talents to help these lovley women wanting to improve their lives and their skills! Thank you for your consideration.

Mission Statement
Archway Communities elevates lives by providing access to affordable housing, food security and the supportive social services people need to thrive.
Description
Archway Communities was founded with the belief that affordable housing is a crucial element in building healthy communities. In pursuit of that belief, we seek opportunities to purchase vacant land for new construction or renovate obsolete multifamily developments. Shortly after we were founded, we began to recognize that residents need more than affordable housing to stabilize their lives - many were struggling with challenges like food insecurity, recovering from chronic homelessness, unemployment, single parenting, obtaining citizenship, and others. Archway Communities instituted the Supportive Services Program- resident focused, on-site programming- to address the needs of those living in our communities beyond simply providing a roof over their heads.
