The River Bend Bike Skills Park will be a unique fun, family friendly bike riding facility that will give kids in Lompoc another option when looking for things to do. This project is 100% volunteer based so YOUR ASSISTANCE IS CRITICAL to complete this project. We have jobs for everyone. We need help with raking, sweeping and shoveling. We also need local riders to come out to share your expertise just as much as we need unskilled labor to come out just to clean up and help with our landscaping! Please bring or wear gloves, comfortable shoes, work clothes, a hat or visor and a fun and hard-working attitude.
Every weekend till Thanksgiving 9am to 4pm

The Santa Barbara County Education Office provides critical services to support special populations of students, to help teachers improve their professional development, and to help assure the financial health of the 22 school districts and two community colleges in our county. Through economies of scale, we are dedicated to providing service and leadership that will help all children achieve their full potential in school and in life.
Description
North County Volunteer Corps is a partnership program jointly administered by the Santa Barbara County Education Office, the Santa Maria Valley YMCA, and the United Boys & Girls Clubs - Lompoc. Educators sumbit requests for volunteer support through our website, and our volunteer managers then match and coordinate community volunteers (like you!) to meet those needs. We are committed to connecting your personal skills and interests to the right activity for you.
