As a Juliette Troop Advisor, you will work with a group of girls and their parents November through April. We will provide you with the specific curriculum and materials needed to help a group of girls start their Girl Scout journey! You'll introduce them to new experiences that show them they're capable of more than they ever imagined.

  • Juliette Troops begin in early November and will continue every other week until April.
  • We will pair you with another Advisor unless you know of someone else who may be interested in joining you.
  • We provide you with the curriculum and all materials.

During this time of year (since it is close to cookie season!) we work on the Financial Literacy curriculum. This curriculum is suited for girls of all ages, K-8 and is designed to teach them money basics, how to set a savings goal and learning how to balance a checkbook. Not only does this make the idea of money and math more tangible, but it makes them more comfortable with taking over their own financial responsibilities.

This troop meets the 1st and 3rd Thursdays each month from 6:30-8:00pm in the Davidson area.

Here at the Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council our girls get their hands dirty with bugs and bones, put their minds to work on science and engineering projects, challenge their body and minds with challenge courses and 5k’s, help breast cancer patients survive their toughest moments, and build lasting relationships with fellow Girl Scouts. We serve extraordinary girls in Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Rowan, Stanly, Union and York counties and we are always in need of extraordinary adults to help our girls reach their full potential.
