The Joseph’s Basketball and Bible Camp began in 2004 as a week-long camp, for basketball and Bible enrichment, in honor of Joseph Arrington (a young man - with a passion for sports, education and helping others - who passed away of cancer). The camp was so successful that the church decided to continue the camp on Saturday evenings throughout the summer.
Saturdays 6pm-8pm we provided basketball training and Bible lessons for ages 8-11; 8:30pm-11:00pm we facilitate basketball game competitions and faith-based discussions with teens ages 12-18. If you have a passion for basketball and mentoring the youth, you are welcome to join our staff.

The vision of our programs is to further prepare our youth for success by teaching them key values of teamwork, building strategy, sportsmanship, and Biblical morals through fun engaging activities in a safe environment and with the positive role modeling of our staff.
Description
Our youth programs are provided for ages 8-18 on Saturday evenings. We emphasis to all participants and volunteers within our programs the importance of respect and safety. We provide the youth activities of basketball, board games, and video games with a focus on teamwork, positive sportsmanship, fair competition and developing strategy. Additionally, we facilitate faith-based discussions and show the youth moral-based films preceded by a facilitated discussion about the life application of the film's moral lesson. Our programs provide refreshments and all activities free of charge.
