There is no better way to reconnect with your inner child than helping children. Through the Foster Grandparent Program, you can volunteer 15-40 hours a week to tutor and mentor students in your local school. If volunteers qualify, they can be reimbursed for travel and a modest, tax-free stipend. To qualify, volunteers must be 55 or older.

For more than 100 years, Sunbeam Family Services has served central Oklahoma’s most vulnerable citizens. Sunbeam is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for the poor and working poor in our community.
Since 1907, Sunbeam has evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of the community. Today, all services are provided on a sliding-scale fee basis or free of charge, and include Counseling, Early Childhood Education, Foster Care and Senior Services.
