Join a team of energetic and enthusiastic volunteers who will prepare and serve a Thanksgiving meal for more than 350 families (600 people) in San Antonio on November 19, 2015! Your volunteer participation to help set up, prepare and serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner will make a difference for many this holiday season. Flexible shifts available!
Sign up and help with decorating, set up, food preparation, serving food and beverages, registration, greeting, guiding the flow of traffic, assisting elderly to their table, clean-up and everything in between! More information will be sent to you if you are interesting in getting involved.
The community Thanksgiving dinner will be held at the West Side Girl Scout Leadership Center located at 5622 W. César E. Chávez Blvd., San Antonio, 78237 (formerly Coronado-Escobar Elementary School, Edgewood ISD).
Girl Scouts - We teach girls to take action: for themselves, their communities, and the world. By giving them different perspectives and opportunities to make a difference, we inspire girls to give back and share the good. Come be a part of this annual tradition. Giving back feels good!

Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas is a dynamic and contemporary organization which prepares girls to seek and meet the challenges for our ever changing society. Through our program, girls ages 5-17, learn to have fun, gain self-esteem, and contribute to their communities. Support for our organization is provided by trained volunteers and skilled staff. The volunteer structure is innovative and emphasizes adult education and training.
