Do you speak Russian? Do you live in Brooklyn? Then we have the perfect volunteer opportunity for you! JASA's Shorefront Senior Center is seeking a Russian-speaking volunteer to assist with clerical work, setting up and serving meals, and socializing with seniors.
The Jewish Association Serving the Aging (JASA), founded in 1968 by the Federation of Jewish Philanthropies, provides a full range of services for the elderly and their families -- from the most able and independent to the most frail and vulnerable, to enable the elderly to live independent lives in their own homes and communities. Services are provided throughout New York City and in Nassau and Suffolk counties.
