WE NEED | YOUR HELP This race will need tons of volunteers. Sign up now!
The Race Director of the B.A.A Boston Marathon is coming to Maryland to help us create an unbelievable event for our communities and great charity partners! Trust us when we say that this is not your average community 10k!
If you want to be involved in the most exciting event around, you don’t have to be a runner to share in the excitement. We need a lot of volunteers to help with a wide range of activities ranging from packet pick-up for runners, taking team photos for our runner groups, hosting VIPs from around the world, manning our water station on the Bridge, setting up signs and banners on the Bridge before the race, serving finish line food to our hungry runners and so much more! You don’t have to be strong to volunteer. You don’t have to be young to volunteer. You just have to be excited to volunteer! We need you, your civic groups, your church groups and your friends to make this all possible.

Mission Statement
The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. We work tirelessly to find cures and ensure patients can access the lifesaving treatments they need. When someone experiences the fear and uncertainty of a blood cancer diagnosis, we provide hope, compassion, education and support. Our impact is felt beyond blood cancer. The breakthrough treatments we helped advance for blood cancers are now improving the lives of people affected by many types of cancer.
Description
Volunteers are our partners in the crusade to end cancer.
In 2017, LLS volunteers made a significant impact while selflessly dedicating their time and talent to achieve our mission. With countless ways to engage, from fundraising to providing patient support, our volunteers are changing the landscape of cancer.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) was founded in 1949 to serve residents who have been touched by one of the blood cancers: leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
