Friends of Trees is partnering with Lane Transit District in planting street trees west of downtown in Jefferson Westside, Whiteaker, and Downtown neighborhoods! We are thrilled to work with LTD to plant 50 trees in this area, including a few trees in some previously removed concrete wells.
Please arrive by 8:45 am to enjoy some hot coffee and breakfast treats. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves and tools, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes.
