Operation: REVEILLE

Thank you for your interest... all volunteer positions have been filled as of 11/7/14.

On Veterans Day, the resounding sound of "REVEILLE" will vibrate a bugle to awaken and summon the people of Tampa/Hillsborough County to join together, in a collaborative effort, to rapidly re-house 50 homeless Veterans into permanent supportive housing.

On November 11, 2014, at Port Tampa Bay, the Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative, along with the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County, will launch Operation: REVEILLE-Tampa/Hillsborough County, in an effort to actualize President Obama’s goal to end Veteran homelessness by 2015.

In one day’s time, this initiative will bring together federal, regional, state and local government agencies, faith-based organizations, housing providers, non-profit agencies and businesses to connect 50 homeless Veterans to permanent supportive housing. Other services, such as intensive case management, employment services, legal assistance, mental health services, benefits eligibility screenings, Veterans benefits, financial counseling, health care, and household supplies will also be provided.

Will you join in this effort with us and be a Comrade?
