Fun and Creative? - Help with a holiday 5k event

The Arthritis Foundation is a 501(c)3 seeking a special events volunteer to help plan and execute our Jingle Bell Run/Walk fundraising events in various cities throughout the Chicagoland and Northern Illinois area.

We are looking for an awesome volunteer to help us out with some of the logistics and planning as we get into crunch time! We would like someone to come work in our office, which is located downtown in the Loop, easy to get to via public transportation.

We are looking for someone that is creative, has some knowledge of special events/running events and/or is interested in starting a career in event management. If you are good at social media, we can also utilize your social media skills to post to our Twitter and Facebook page and brainstorm social media opportunities.

We are looking for an intern who can help out a few days each week from NOW - mid December. We are flexible with your schedule and can work with you to find times that works.
