Many children entering the foster care system have never celebrated or even received a present at Christmas time. We believe it is our job to let them know how truly special and loved they are.
We are looking for volunteers to help wrap Christmas gifts on December 9th and 11th for foster children. We can accommodate your busy schedule.
These gifts will be presented to the foster and adoptive families licensed through A Place to Call Home at their annual Holiday Party later that month.
If you are an individual, family, business or community organization, you can absolutely help!

Dorothy's Light is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of foster children and adults with developmental disabilities throughout Arizona.
Description
Dorothy's Light is committed to supporting organizations that build awareness and offer solutions to address the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual needs of foster children and adults with special needs. Dorothy's Light is currently working with A Place to Call Home, a foster care/adoption agency with programs in Mesa and Tucson. We are hoping that together, we can support the nearly 200 children and adults placed in their foster and developmental homes. In a secure and loving environment, it is our belief these adults and children will develop a new sense of responsibility and commitment to themselves and their futures.
