Streets Alive! was created to incorporate fun, fitness and food to promote healthier lifestyles by temporarily closing streets to motor vehicles and opening them for people to have fun and get active. Description
Lee County Parks & Recreation goals is to maximize our combined resources to provide the citizens of Lee County with the best possible facilities and programs with the least possible expenditure of public funds. In other words, get more "Bang For The Buck". For almost 30 years it has been a very rewarding relationship for all parties, especially for the citizens of Lee County. From our meager beginnings over a quarter of a century ago we have grown dramatically. We now manage over 3,500 acres of developed parkland and provide for hundreds of programs throughout the County.
