Mission Statement

The Miami Acting company seeks to promote awareness and appreciation of the performing arts in Miami-Dade County and its surrounding communities through the presentation of live theatrical performances. We are also dedicated to the support of philanthropic causes that would benefit from utilizing our programs for fund raising purposes. We strive to provide a theatrical experience to all of Miami-Dade County including the elderly, residents of low-economic means and students who would not normally be able to attend a live theater experience.

Miami Acting Company was established in 2006 by a dedicated group of individuals, to promote anawareness and appreciation of the performing arts by providing exceptional live theatrical performances in under-served areas in both Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. In addition to providing quality theatre at very affordable prices, we are also unique in that we support philanthropic causes in these areas by allowing other charitable organizations to utilize our productions for their fund raising efforts.

Description

During the year we produce a variety of shows for hte community. We need help to continue to produce and present these shows. We are in need of ushers and ticket takers and we are especialy interested in seeking out individuals interested in the theater.

We need production crew members to help us during rehearsals and also backstage with everything from set construction to costuming. We will be more than happy to provide certification for volunteer hours for schools as needed.

There is nothing more exciting than to be aprt of a theatrical production and helping it come to life!
