Candlelighters provides a fun Holiday Party for about 200 children and we need help to bring Holiday Cheer to these families. Crafts, games, $25 gift wishes need to be filled, party foods. We need help registering particpants and creating a fun atmosphere. Dress in your party attire.

Candlelighters supports, serves and advocates for children and adolescents with cancer and other blood disorders, their families, long term survivors, bereaved families, and the professionals that care for them.

*Ease frustration and fears through shared emotions and experience
*Exchange information on research, treatment and community resources
*Break down the social and isolation of families
*Provide guidance in coping with childhood cancer's effect on a child, parent, siblings, and family
*Identify patient and family needs so that medical and social systems respond adequately
*Are an emotional support system of second families
Candlelighters is a voice in our community for pediatric cancer families and survivors to the general public, the medical community, government, schools, employers and the media.
