Office Night Mailing Event for Friends of the Mississippi River

Looking for a way to help FMR behind the scenes? Come work with our development team in our downtown St. Paul office for a night. We have a big mailing that we need last-minute volunteer help to get out the door.
You only need to commit to this one night, but if you like it and want to be part of our regular Tuesday Night Volunteer Crew, you are welcome to join.
This project involves collating and stuffing envelopes, as well as applying labels and stamps. We plan to start at 5 p.m., but volunteers can arrive as early as 4:30 p.m. if it works better for their schedule. (And if you're coming from work and can't be here right at five on the dot, just let us know.)
We should be able to finish by 7:30 p.m. We'll have pizza and sodas to help keep us going!

Friends of the Mississippi River is proud to work with roughly 3,000 volunteers annually.
We keep volunteering simple, fun and satisfying -- there are no applications, and you can sign up for one event or several. We list events especially in need of volunteers here on VolunteerMatch.com, but maintain a full calendar of 60+ events a year at www.fmr.org/events.
Our project work includes conservation and restoration of natural areas and habitat, education on watershed protection issues, and organizing activities that connect the public to the Mississippi River.
