KYC Center Volunteers support and engage with our participants during Center programming. Volunteers must be 23 years of age or older and must complete an interview, training session, and background check before joining us. Center volunteers generally commit to one 2 or 4-hour volunteer shift per week, support programming, and keep our Center a positive, safe, and empowering space. The Volunteer Orientation training is offered on an on-going basis and provides important information and skills specifically related to working with LGBTQ young people.
