Cathoic Charities Diocese of Charlotte serves thousands of our neighbors in need every month. This would not be possible without the contributions of our donors, supporters and volunteers. Our big fundraising event, The Vineyard of Hope, will be held in December. We need help with handwritten notes and other preparations for the event right now.

All of our volunteers complete and application and background check. We need interested volunteers to apply right away so we can complete the application process in time.

Description

Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte provides services encompassing assistance to individuals and families experiencing a need for:

  • Foster care, adoption and pregnancy services
  • Individual, marriage and family counseling
  • Distribution of donated services to the needy
  • Food Pantry
  • Acute emergency services
  • Enrichment services
  • Burial Support

Catholic Charities (CCDOC) Refugee Resettlement program is an affiliate of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), one of the national voluntary agencies participating in the federal government's refugee resettlement program. For the past 30 years, the CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program has embraced the mission of providing quality services and a caring support system that will empower our refugee clients to become self-sufficient, self-reliant, and productive members of society. On average, CCDOC Refugee Resettlement program resettles and supports between 350 and 400 refugees per year. All of our services are non-sectarian and do not promote any religious belief or affiliation.
