The Alliance for African Assistance, a small nonprofit organization assisting refugees from around the world, is looking for a File Clerk. Our ideal candidate is someone who is hard working, organized, and detail orientated. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Organize and arrange files and documents related to the Bridge Fund Program • Contact clients on behalf of the Alliance for African Assistance REQUIREMENTS: COMMITMENT: The position requires a minimum 32 hours per month commitment for 8 hours per week. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Fluent in written and spoken English • Familiarity with Microsoft Office • Familiarity with organizing files in both alphabetical and numerical order • Knowledge of how to operate office equipment (ie. Fax Machines, Copiers, Scanners, etc.) BENEFITS: Although this position is unpaid, we are happy to provide a volunteer description and letter of reference verifying your time of service.
