We need YOU to be a mentor! Caring & Sharing Mentors work one-on-one with the girls in our Stir It Up Girls program to provide ongoing support and encouragement to their mentee. No special skills are required. You must only have a willingness to encourage and support your mentee, and to serve as a positive role model and friend.
In order to be a mentor, you must be:
- At least 21 years old
- Female
- Dependable and consistent in meeting time commitments
Mentors must commit to spending a minimum of five hours per month one-on-one with their mentee. We ask that our mentors commit to working with their mentee for a one year commitment. Mentors and girls will be matched according to shared interests and age or geographic preferences.

Through the collaborative efforts of volunteers, participants in this girls only environment are educated on critical issues that affect adolescences.
Our Stir It UP program inspires and empowers girls (ages 10-17) on their journey of self discovery by providing an emotionally safe environment for growth. Our program is girl-focused and girl-driven to help girls to build courage, character, and confidence to reach their full potential.
