C2 Change [formerly known as Tejas Family Guidance Center] is a local nonprofit mental health agency offering affordable psychotherapy and neuropsychological assessments to children and their families as well as a training center for masters and doctoral level students. We are looking for volunteers to join our board of directors.
C2 Change welcomes all potential board members who share a passion for our mission, which is to improve the mental health of families through preventative methods, diagnosis and treatment to help advance the cognitive, behavioral and emotional skills necessary for successful life management. Our vision is to ensure C2 Change meets the mental health needs of children, young adults, individuals, and family members; to serve those who need us most regardless of income; and to continue to be a valuable training site for parents, students, and mental health professionals.
Our current board needs are in the following areas, but not limited to:
HR, Legal, Administration/Operations, Fundraising & Business Development.
C2 Change is always looking for energetic dedicated board members.

Description
C2 Change is a nonprofit behavioral health agency solely dedicated to providing quality behavioral health services to youth and their families. Through early intervention, diagnosis, and treatment we help children, adolescents, young adults, individuals, and families develop the emotional skills needed for meeting life’s challenges. Our fees are based on a sliding scale to ensure everyone receives professional behavioral health services regardless of income.
Our team works closely together to provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy; psychological evaluations and assessments, neuropsychological evaluations; parent education; and training to current and future behavioral health professionals.
