Did you know that over 16% of residents in the Phoenix area don’t know where there next meal is coming from? Join Team Move For Hunger at the Phoenix Marathon, 1/2 Marathon & 10K and your fundraising donations go to help fill Phoenix’s local food banks. By raising money, you are enabling us to continue our lifesaving services and keep food on the table for our friends and neighbors in need.

What do my donations do?

By becoming a member of Team Move For Hunger, your fundraising donations go to help those in need put meals on the table. By teaming up with the relocation industry, Move For Hunger is creating one of the largest year round hunger relief programs. Our movers offer to deliver unwanted, nonperishable food when people move directly to the food bank. Join us today and receive some stylish race gear, personalized fundraising and training help and the ability to make a difference in your local community!

How does the Team work?

Great question! All you need to do is fill out our online registration form and our Team Captain Emily will send over some fundraising and training tips, along with a link to your personal fundraising page on Crowdrise. Upload your personal picture and information and you’re ready to go! Gather donations from friends, family, coworkers and anyone who wants to help us fight hunger in America. You’ll receive bi-monthly newsletters filled with great information to help you cross the finish line, all while your fundraising donations enable us to continue our life saving services. Once you’ve raised $500, we will register you with the race, getting your free registration along with a stylish Team Move For Hunger technical tee. If you raise more, the incentives just get better!

Move For Hunger, a 501(c) (3), is working to end hunger and food waste in America. Nearly 42 million Americans struggle with hunger while 35% of the food produced in this country goes to waste. By mobilizing moving companies, multifamily apartment communities, corporations, and volunteers, Move For Hunger has delivered more than 27 million pounds of food to food banks - providing 23 million meals for those in need.
