ORGANIZATION: Fairview Northland Medical Center

Information Desk
Information Desk volunteers are the heart of the hospital. They are the first face patients and visitors see when they enter the hospital and assist with delivering flowers, baloons, and notes of encouragement.

Patients and visitors at Northland arrive for a variety of reasons from the joyous (a new baby) to the serious (a surgery). Whatever the reason, customer experience volunteers welcome everyone with a kind and caring greeting. In this role, you will provide directions, answer questions, and assist patients, visitors, and staff.

This role is for you if you:

  • Enjoy interacting with a variety of people
  • Relish in taking time to ensure each person’s needs are met
  • Thrive on providing excellent customer service

No experience necessary! We will train you on everything you need to know to be successful.
