Come help MDA at their 2015 Raleigh MDA Muscle Walk. The MDA Raleigh Muscle Walk 2015 will be held on Saturday, April 11 th at John Chavis Memorial Park, 505 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27601. This event brings the families we serve together with friends, volunteers and MDA staff to raise much needed funds for research, local healthcare services and educational/awareness programs that are provided to those living in central North Carolina with a neuromuscular disease. Your help is needed with setting up/closing the event; manning stations, checking in participants, helping with food, distributing t-shirts, participating in the walk, and other duties as needed. On behalf of MDA and the individuals we serve please know what a difference you are making and thank you for volunteering generously of your time!

The Muscular Dystrophy Association's mission is to foster and promote the alleviation of the conditions of persons with muscular dystrophy and related neuromuscular disorders through support of basic and applied research seeking the causes of and effective treatments for these diseases.
