Family of Promise is a network of 16 Anoka County Churches that take turns giving homeless families overnight shelter for the week. The weekly host volunteers help set up the space, provide home cooked meals and fellowship activities. Many volunteer opportunites are available.

Family Promise seeks interested volunteers to join a team of on-call driverswho could be available to assist families who do not have transportation to get to appointments or take care of errands. Volunteers would drive the Family Promise minivan to assist families with their transportation needs. We would generally schedule rides 1-3 days in advance but occassional last minute availability is helpful. A clean driving record is a must and it would be helpful to live near our center, which is in Ramsey.

Welcome Families at the Family Promise Day Center! The Day Center rotates being the host site a few times a year and can use your help. Shifts of 3-4 hours are available and this may be a great opportunity to volunteer as a group or with a friend by bringing a meal for all the guests on one of these evenings, play games, or bring an activity.
