The City of Poway is looking for dedicated, enthusiastic teens to join our newly launched Teen Volunteer Program! Volunteers will have the unique opportunity to gain experience providing a variety of recreation activities, while making new friends and enhancing leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
Check out some of our upcoming events below:
Kid's Night Out - November 7th - Help us create a special evening for 50 kids as we lead recreation games and create some awesome craft projects!
Art in the Park - November 11th - We'll be hosting arts and crafts booths for families to enjoy throughout Community Park and need your help to make it a success!
Teen Night Out - November 22nd - We're taking our Teen Night Out participants to catch the newest Hunger Games flick and would love your help with our trip and the fun and games that will follow!

Description
Poway Teen Volunteers have the unique opportunity to gain experience providing a variety of recreation activities, while making new friends and enhancing leadership, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Teens will assist our Community Services staff in planning, organizing, facilitating, and providing a variety of recreation activities for the City of Poway and the surrounding communities. Some examples of volunteer duties include: assisting with arts and crafts, games, sports, music, or and other outdoor activities.
