In partnership with the Carolina Panthers, Keep Mecklenburg Beautiful, the City of Charlotte, Bojangles' and Charlotte Center City Partners, Hands on Charlotte is excited to promote this volunteering opportunity. Join us at the next Panthers home game and you can make a difference!

Volunteer Activities: Volunteers meet 4 hours prior to kick off and are shuttled around to various tailgating areas near Bank of America Stadium. Your job is to hand out recycling collection bags and educate fans and parking lot attendants on what they can recycle. On the spot training will be provided to volunteers. In addition to educating fans on recycling, you will have the opportunity to present a Bojangles' gift card to the most responsible fans and parking lot attendants.

During the 2013 football season, we were able to divert over 36 tons of recycling from the landfill. Help us this year by exceeding those numbers.

This is a three hour commitment and parking is free at the initial meeting point. Please be aware that you will be interacting with people who are consuming alcoholic beverages and a lot of walking is involved.
