Our team is looking for people who want to share their compassion with hospice patients, but in more of an indirect capacity. Our behind the scenes volunteers help provide families and patients with the simplest caring - from helping with bereavement cards, donation cards to helping with our veteran ceremonies. If you are looking to make a huge difference in a persons life with an hour or so a week, please consider joining our hospice team.

Our staff is committed to working closely with the patient, family and caregiver to assist them in understanding the end of life process, identifying what they can expect at the end of life, and empowering them to provide care when our team is not present.
We are a community-based hospice, providing end-of-life comfort care to patients in any setting that is considered home as well as acute care hospital settings.

Provide respite for primary caregiver Do errands Fix a meal Arts & crafts Play cards/games Gardening Mend, crochet, knit Sit with children Help with photo albums Read current Events from daily newspaper Help with household chores Assist patient in telling family stories on cassette Assist patient in making a personal video for each family member Be a friend Read, sing, pray to or with the patient Delight in hearing stories and memories
