The Christmas Tree Lane Committee helps organize and develop the Christmas Tree Lane event. Committee members assist in the coordination of event, training and support, securing sponsorship, donations, and volunteer commitments, distribution of marketing materials in local communities as well as a variety of event set up and clean up.

Area children will have the opportunity to purchase low-cost presents for loved ones during the annual "Christmas Tree Lane" on Tuesday December 16, from 4 until 8 p.m. at Friendship House, located at 800 NE Madison.

Volunteers will assist younger children in selecting gifts and gift-wrapping assistance will also be available. All gifts are less than $5. Friendship House relies on the generosity of area individuals and businesses for donated items sold at "Christmas Tree Lane". Last year, more than 70 children selected gifts for loved ones. All proceeds benefit children’s programs at Friendship House
