The 68th Annual Asheville Holiday Parade, presented by Bojangles, rolls, marches and dances its way through Downtown Asheville on Saturday, November 22 beginning at 11am. Following the parade, JingleFest, a family-friendly celebration of holiday entertainment, will be held in The US CELLULAR CENTER from noon-5pm With the theme "Home for the Holidays," the grand marshal is none other than Asheville's Caleb Johnson, who came home to Asheville after winning American Idol this year.
Feel free to sign up for more than one shift, but make sure they don't overlap. Many sign-in spots and parking lot crewes can also continue the morning as parade marshals. Lunch will be available at JingleFest for those working throughout the day.
Volunteers are needed to help with lineup, during the parade, and at egress at the end of the parade.
This is the last family friendly event of the season and will be counted towards our 2014 volunteer perks program.
An orientation will be held on Tuesday, November 11 at 5:30pm at the Grove Arcade Conference Room.
