Santa CAAWS is an opportunity for pet owners to bring their pets to get a professional picture taken with Santa (or just a family picture with or without Santa). Various photo packets/cards are available.
Volunteers are needed to help set up the area for the day, register people/pets, prepare people/pets for pictures by helping with selection of costume, take pets to and from staging area, break down at end of day.
Volunteer for full day (8:00-5:00 or so), the morning shift (8:00-1:00) or the afternoon shift (12:00-5:00).

Mission Statement
The Capital Area Animal Welfare Society (CAAWS) is a non-profit organization committed to the well-being of animals in the Baton Rouge community by providing, facilitating, and promoting spay/neuter, adopting or facilitating the adoption of homeless animals, teaching the community responsible companion animal ownership and the humane treatment of animals, and at all times promoting the practice of spay/neuter.
Description
With the help of volunteers, CAAWS offers a number of services and programs that strive to promote animal welfare within the Baton Rouge community. Humane Education and companion ownership, Pet Touch Therapy, Feral Cat Program, Community Assistance Spay and Neuter Program, and Adoptions are all outstanding programs and services provided by the organization.
