Enchanted Forrest Information Booth volunteers will greet guests, provide Enchanted Forest/Holiday Boutique information to guests, ensure tree and wreath bid sheets are in their proper location, and spruce up trees.
All volunteers who complete a four (4) hour shift will receive one (1) admission to the Holiday Boutique. Volunteers can sign up by contacting Charles Rios at Charles.Rios@marillac.org or 913-951-4467.
Enchanted Forest is a free public exhibit that offers families a festive way to spend an afternoon, and an opportunity to share a little holiday spirit with Marillac. A multitude of beautifully decorated trees and wreaths will adorn the Overland Park Convention Center from November 6-9th 2014. During the Enchanted Forest display, approximately 100 trees and wreaths will be available for purchase through a silent auction.
The proceeds from the event go toward Marillac programs- allowing us to continue to provide much needed mental health services for area children.

Description
Marillac has been healing the broken hearts and spirits of children in Kansas City and its surrounding communities since 1897. Today, our seventeen-acre facility in Overland Park, KS is a safe haven for children with special emotional and behavioral needs, up to age 18. Through our psychiatric hospital, residential treatment center, therapeutic day school, and clinical outpatient programs, Marillac’s compassionate, trauma-informed treatment approach helps children recover and reclaim their lives.
