Hospice Volunteers Needed throughout Mahoning,Trumbull,Columbiana Counties.
Grace Hospice provides trained volunteers for additional support to hospice patients and families. Hospice volunteers are trained to relieve the primary caregiver by sitting with patients, or running errands for them. Perhaps the most important task is their ability to be "good listeners" offering companionship and emotional support. Hospice volunteers also provide administrative assistance to the hospice care team. Bilingual speaking to beable communicate with patients.
Weather you are available 2 hours a week or 20 hours a month, all time is appreciated. Volunteers can choose the communities in which they serve.
Volunteer hospice training is FREE and you will receive ongoing support.
