We are in need of Volunteers to make weekly visits to Peoria Krogers to pick up the non-perishable food and take it to City Link for weigh in for our Stuff-a-bus Champaign.
Stuff-a-bus provides the Friendship house with non- perishable food items which allows our food pantry to stay open year round.
Un-load and help sort food delivered from the stuff a bus campaign.
Ensure food is safe and expiration dates within reason.
Nov 1st-28th weekly visits to Krogers in Peoria to pick up food donated.
November 29 th- pick up all remaining food from Kroger’s and deliver to City Link.
December 1 st- un load bus and begin to sort food
December 2 nd- 5 th -sort, organize, and store food.
