Come lend your time with the Boys & Girls Club of Austin Friday Oct. 24 from 11am-6pm as we celebrate National Light of Afterschool.

The Lights on Afterschool nationwide initiative is an effort to highlight and promote after-school programs that help children develop confidence, learn to be part of a team, connect with their communities, discover their artistic talent, explore new interests, and participate in athletic activities.

Volunteers can register for 11am-2pm shift or 2pm-6pm shift. During this time volunteers will be assisting with activities, games, crowd control, handing out popcorn, making cotton candy, and celebrating the power of afterschool programming!

If you have any questions please email the Volunteer Coordinator at Hannah.Acree@bgcaustin.org or call 512-228-6780.
