Every year hundreds of youth must spend the holidays away from their families. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many of the young men who stay at Home Ties, our residential facility. To make their holiday season a bit brighter, we are in search of Christmas presents for boys ages 10 and up. Anything you would be able to donate would be appreciated; no gift is too small.
We ask that all presents are donated by December 10th so that we have time to distribute them. If presents are wrapped, please include a tag with on the outside with the contents so that we can find the correct youth for the present.

Description
Associated Youth Services (AYS) began in 1912, as a Mennonite Children's Orphanage. Since 1972, AYS has been an independent, nonprofit agency, serving at-risk adolescents 12-19 years old.
Today, AYS continues the long tradition of providing a variety of community-based services across the state of Kansas for youth and their families. Our programs include: AYS Academy (GED preparation); Home Ties (a youth residential center for boys); ADAPT (an outpatient drug and alcohol program for teens), a statewide Foster Care progra , and a community health program that provides outreach and prevention programs in Wyandotte County.
