Every year, AYS hosts our holiday party for the youth called Winter Chill. For some, this will be the only traditional meal they will receive for this Christmas season. Each child is given a gift bag full of goodies to enjoy. We are in need of items to fill this bag, such as gloves, hats, small toys, chapstick etc. Donations of multiples would be appreciated as they will be divided between the youth's bags. Youth range from 2 all the way up to 18 years of age, so any gift can be accepted. Please have all donations in by November 19th.

Description
Associated Youth Services (AYS) began in 1912, as a Mennonite Children's Orphanage. Since 1972, AYS has been an independent, nonprofit agency, serving at-risk adolescents 12-19 years old.
Today, AYS continues the long tradition of providing a variety of community-based services across the state of Kansas for youth and their families. Our programs include: AYS Academy (GED preparation); Home Ties (a youth residential center for boys); ADAPT (an outpatient drug and alcohol program for teens), a statewide Foster Care progra , and a community health program that provides outreach and prevention programs in Wyandotte County.
