Duties:
- Solicitation, either by letter, phone, or in-person and ask for a repeat of previous year's donation
- Researching, securing and keeping inventory all in-kind donations for Special Events - auction items, goody bag inserts, etc.
- Help setting up and maintaining event website
- Pull participant reports and help track registration for event using event registration website.
- Help coordinate volunteer logistics for Special Events
- Help provide pre-event training for selected volunteer positions if needed
- Help maintain and ensure that all policies and procedures for event volunteers are followed, including signed waiver
- Perform other duties as assigned
Must have a working knowledge of Excel and Word.
Must be able to do research on the Internet.
Knowledge of working in a database and working on a website would be helpful.
Previous experience in working on a special event or participating in a gala would be helpful.
Can Telecommute.
