Provide companionship and comfort to a hospice patient in your neighborhood! Looks great on a nursing or pre-med application! Flexible schedule.

Volunteers visit, chat, read aloud, sing, play games or just sit quietly with a patient.

Some volunteers have special skills that can also be utilized. For example, some may be working toward becoming a social worker, counselor, nurse, chaplain, or end-of-life doula. Others are skilled and licensed professionals with experience in massage, reiki, aromatherapy, art therapy, music therapy, meditation, or animal therapy. Some are training to be cosmetology and brighten a patient's day by painting her nails and setting her hair. Still others are active military members or veterans who have an insight into PTSD and other traumas faced by our veteran patients. We welcome a range of experience, skills, and interests!
