Volunteers are needed to help at various game booths and craft stations, at the prize booth, with set-up and as a judges for the dance and costume competition. The Harvest Dance is one of the most anticipated events of the year by persons-served -- after all who doesn't love an event where you can be anything you want to be!
The Harvest Party and Dance is on Friday, October 24 at Crossler Middle School in south Salem.
Boo-Builders (Set-up Crew)
Shift: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Duties: Volunteers will help create a fun, party ambiance by decorating and setting up tables, chairs and games.
Volunteers needed: 6
Eerie Assistants (Game and Activity Attendants)
Shift 6:30 - 9 p.m.
Duties: Volunteers will assist participants as they play games (Pumpkin Toss, Basketball Toss, Duck Fishing, etc) and participate in activities.
Volunteers needed: 8
Trick-Or-Treater (Raffle Table Attendants)
Shift: 7 - 10 p.m.
Duties: Volunteers will assist guests in filling out their raffle tickets and selecting which prize they want to try to win.
Volunteers needed: 4
Goblin-ographer (Event Photographers)
Shift: 7 p.m. - 10 p.m.
Duties: Volunteers will take photos of attendees at the photo booth and roam the event to take candid photos. Volunteer needs to provide their own camera.
Volunteers needed: 2
Volunteers 10-14 years of age are allowed to volunteer with a parent or guardian. Volunteers 15 years of age and older can volunteer independently. Volunteers will be provided a light meal and beverages. Costumes are welcome and encouraged!
