We are seeking caring and compassionate seniors 65 and over to join our Care Transtions Team at Jamaica Hospital.
Volunteer Coaches will provide peer support through telephone calls to Seniors recently discharged from the hospital.
Clinical support available to Volunteer Coaches from clinical staff. Flexible day schedule.

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is a 387-bed, fully accredited teaching hospital. It has a large network of 11 community-based ambulatory care centers that come under the corporate name "MediSys Health Network. Jamaica Hospital Medical center has a 204-bed Nursing Home (Trump Pavillion) that provides long term care on campus, a 50 bed In-Patient Psychiatric Unit and a 20 bed Traumatic Brain Injury Unit. It is located in Jamaica, Queens.
