Seeking COMMUNITY LEADERS in the Southern Willamette Valley (Salem, Willamette University, Silverton, Santiam Canyon, Albany, Oregon State University, Lebanon, Eugene/Springfield, University of Oregon, South Lane County and Roseburg) with a passion for fighting cancer to help plan and develop the American Cancer Society signature fundraising event, Relay For Life. Relay For Life is community-owned, volunteer-driven and staff-coached. Many volunteer leadership positions are available from managing and overseeing other volunteers to heading up a specific area/task.
Volunteer leaders are needed to help BRING THE PEOPLE to Relay, BUILD THE FUN at the event, EDUCATE others about sponsorship opportunities, fundraising and our mission of helping people to stay well, get well, find cures and fight back against cancer.
