RefugeeOne is seeking a part-time Archive Intern. The intern’s primary tasks will be scanning and digitizing forms and keeping track of data. Start and end dates are flexible, though we request a commitment of about 3 months. Ideal applicants have completed high-school and at least some college, and have great organizational and interpersonal skills. College credit may be obtained.

An internship with RefugeeOne provides valuable experience working in a not-for-profit organization, which provides a full range of services to refugees displaced from their homelands due to violence. Our clients are resettled in Chicago by the U.S. State Department. RefugeeOne helps these refugees secure housing, learn English, acclimate to American culture, develop employable skills, find jobs, access medical care, enroll their children in public school, and apply for citizenship.
