Have you received hope, comfort and love at a time in your life when you needed i tmost? Do you feel it’s time to give to others the blessings you have received?

There are hospice patients in your area that would benefit greatly from your companionship and encouragement. We are currently looking for knitters, crocheters and sewers for our comfort care hospice program. Volunteers would create blankets, robes, draw string bags, prayer shawls and other needed items for hospice patients. Your volunteer time would suit your schedule and your location. Donations of yarn, fleece and material are also are needed and welcomed

Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non-medical patient and family care and offering support services in the office, using their cars and from their own homes.
