The Employment Coach works individually with low-income Hispanic clients to help them prepare and apply for job including:

  • Help clients create and edit professional resumes
  • Assist with online job searches
  • Support clients while they fill out applications
  • Provide basic computer instruction for clients with very limited knowledge
  • Help clients make follow-up calls about the status of their applications
  • Assist clients in crafting a professional statement or advertisement emphasizing their skills so they can better promote their services

The Employment Coach must have advanced Spanish proficiency and commit to at least 3-4 hours per week during regular business hours. With your support clients will improve their skills and gain employment so they can become self-sufficient.
