We provide horse back riding lessons to children and adults with special needs.

Volunteers and the horses are our most important assets. Our volunteers are beyond giving in nature and have helped to develop the program into a program that develops lasting friendships.
Join in our efforts to enrich the quality of life for the community and have fun making a difference. Requirements:

No experience necessary- we will train you.
Must be 14 years of age or older
Must be willing to commit at least 2 hours per week.
Volunteers are needed for the following:

Leading Horses

Your primary responsibility is to take charge of the horse. You must constantly be aware of the needs of the rider, therapist or licensed instructor, and of any potential hazard in or around the arena. The horse leader must keep the horse moving at the pace and in the direction that the therapist or instructor requests.
