PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Perform assigned duties related to Logistics roles in Disaster Services
OPEN TIME DAYS
Varies by disaster response.
Facilities (FAC) - Seek potential space for the different types of DRO facilities and set-up and maintain facilities for the DRO.⦆ Arrange for utilities, services and furniture and to assign space.⦆

In-Kind Donations (IKD) - Fundraise for in-kind materials and supplies required for DRO.

- InKind Donation Fundamentals (classroom)

Warehousing (WHS) - Manage the inventory of materials and supplies required for the DRO.⦆ Distribute, transport and/or install, as appropriate, materials and supplies.⦆

- Warehouse Fundamentals (classroom)

Transportation (TRA) - Look after and keep in good condition all appropriate resources, including, but not limited to, rental and national vehicles, wheeled storage and refrigerated units.

Life Safety & Asset Protection (LSAP) - Identifies and performs operational safety & security tasks on a DRO.⦆ Provide an environment that is as safe and secure as reasonably possible.

Procurement (PRO) - Procure and/or replenish purchased or in-kind materials and supplies required for a DRO.⦆ Researches and conducts resources requirements and places orders for goods and services.⦆

Supply (SUP) - Provides disaster Response activities with a conduit for gathering and disbursing supplies into Disaster Relief Operations (DRO).⦆ Communicate specific supply requirements with other groups and activities.
