PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The Home Fire Preparedness Campaign is a new initiative launching on October 11 in Berks County. The goal of this initiative is to reduce the number of deaths and injuries caused by home fires by 25 in five years. In this first phase, teams will canvass homes to educate residents and install smoke detectors in homes without them.
OPEN TIME DAYS
6 hours on Saturday, October 11.｠ Additional dates for canvassing events are being scheduled in November and December.｠
REQUIRED TRAINING- Orientation to the American Red Cross
- Additional training will be provided.
