People Inc.
Every person needs support from others. People Incorporated promotes the dignity of individuals and families, moves people into the economic mainstream, and works to develop existing strengths and resources within communities. All of our efforts are directed by the concerns, hopes, needs and dreams of the people we serve.

People Incorporated is seeking volunteers to work with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Volunteers are needed in several capacities. Interested volunteers will be trained. IRS-certified volunteers will then provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

Volunteers are needed to serve as greeters at the VITA site. Tax preparation training is not required to serve in this capacity, just a desire to volunteer to help. A Greeter will serve as the first point of contact on the day of an appointment. This volunteer will be the face of our VITA program for clients. Substitute greeters are needed, as well, to give our volunteers the ability to have flexible schedules.
