People Incorporated is seeking volunteers to work with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Volunteers are needed in several capacities. Interested volunteers will be trained using the IRS’ Link and Learn Taxes program. The IRS-certified volunteers will then provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
Volunteers are also needed to serve as greeters at the VITA site. Tax preparation training is not required to serve in this capacity.
Finally, there is an opportunity to serve as the site coordinator. This position requires an individual with a bit of experience in tax preparation. Anyone interested in volunteering or learning more about VITA can call Jeanne at People Incorporated. The number is 571-445-3021.
Site Supervisore needed every Saturday through tax season. Other positions are flexible to your schedule on Saturdays through tax season.
